According to Ken Ham, "Atheists have been very active across the nation sponsoring billboards (including in our area) in an attempt to indoctrinate people to reject belief in God. These people are a small fraction of the population, but they are having some influence."
He maintains that Christians should extend similar efforts to reach the unsaved. I agree with him, and I want to stress that the reasons for widely spreading the message of the gospel are twofold:
1. For the glory of God
2. For the love of our fellow man--was it Spurgeon who said, "If they're going to Hell, let it be over my dead body." That's my paraphrase. The real quote follows:
"If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for."
