Snow Ice Cream!

DD and DS5 just made snow ice cream like Laura used to make in the Little House books. It's scrumptious, so I'm sharing the recipe. Snow really can be a blessing!

Snow Ice Cream

1/2 pint of heavy whipping cream

1 quart of milk

1 can of sweetened condensed milk

2 eggs

1 1/2 tsp of vanilla

a pinch of salt

Whisk together all ingredients except snow in a metal bowl until well mixed. Have one person continue to whisk mixture while another sprinkles snow until the mixture becomes thick (like home-made ice cream). Freeze and eat! Add slivered chocolate or fruit to your liking.
